Role Overview:
Reporting to the COO, the Vice President, Engineering & Asset Management (VP EAM) will lead the technical operations and infrastructure stewardship across Bulk’s data centre portfolio. This includes governance of critical systems (power, cooling, BMS, SCADA), lifecycle planning, and technical standards. The VP EAM will manage a multidisciplinary team, ensure seamless project-to-operations handover, and support long-term operational excellence and platform scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop Bulk’s engineering and asset management team across active and planned data center sites
• Define and enforce technical standards and documentation frameworks across the platform
• Own asset lifecycle planning, including capital investment, maintenance, and end-of-life strategies
• Oversee commissioning validation and operational readiness during construction handovers
• Provide senior-level technical escalation and troubleshooting support
• Drive improvements in system efficiency, monitoring, and reliability
• Serve as technical lead in customer negotiations, SLAs, and onboarding discussions
• Represent Bulk in engagements with key vendors, commissioning partners, and industry bodies

Candidate Profile – Required Experience:

• Minimum 10–15 years in engineering leadership roles within mission-critical infrastructure (e.g. data centers, utilities, process industries)
• Track record of managing Tier III or IV environments, with responsibility for electrical, mechanical, and control systems
• Demonstrated experience in asset management strategy, including capital planning and system renewal cycles
• Proven leadership of cross-disciplinary technical teams, including engineering, BIM, documentation, and system governance
• Hands-on experience with commissioning, technical validation, and structured project-to-operations handovers
• Strong understanding of risk management, compliance, and uptime/reliability in operational environments

Candidate Profile – Attributes & Qualifications:

• Degree qualified in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent); certifications in commissioning or asset management are advantageous
• Fluent in English; proficiency in a Scandinavian language is preferred but not required
• Strong communicator who can collaborate across technical, commercial, and operational stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with a structured approach to documentation, standards, and compliance
• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term infrastructure stewardship with short-term operational needs
• Personally aligned to Bulk’s values of sustainability, precision, and integrity
