Document Control Manager
Help us build the foundation of the digital future! đ
Weâre looking for an experienced Document Control Manager to take ownership of technical documentation across the full lifecycle of our high-performance data centers, from early design to operations.
In this key role, youâll lead the work to ensure documentation is accurate, accessible, and compliant. Youâll help bridge the gap between engineering and operations, turning information into a strategic asset.
As a Document Control Manager, you will oversee document control across our portfolio, ensuring best practices from early design documentation to as-built records and O&M manuals. Youâll manage a team of document controllers and BIM specialists and serve as the go-to person for documentation across internal teams and external partners.
Youâll also manage and improve our document control system (ProArc), ensuring it supports integration with CMMS and digital twin platforms as we scale and digitize.
What Youâll Do:
- Lead document control across the full asset lifecycle - from design to operations
- Ensure structure, version control, and accessibility for technical documentation and BIM models
- Manage and develop a multidisciplinary documentation team
- Own and optimize our document management system (ProArc) and its integrations
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and digitalization of documentation processes
- Act as the primary point of contact for document-related matters internally and externally
- Promote best practices and build documentation competence across the organization
Who are you?
You are structured and service-minded, with a keen eye for detail and a drive to make things work efficiently. You adapt easily in dynamic environments, and plan with purpose, even when priorities shift.
With experience in BIM workflows and document governance, you're confident setting clear standards and translating them into practice. You collaborate well across disciplines and communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders. Critical thinking and a flexible mindset help you continuously improve how things are done.
What You Bring
- 7â10 years of experience in document control, BIM coordination, or technical library/information management
- Strong leadership skills and proven experience in managing documentation from construction to operations
- Familiarity with BIM platforms (e.g., Revit, Navisworks), common data environments (CDEs), and document management systems such as ProArc
- Bachelorâs degree in Engineering, Architecture, Information Management, or a related field. Relevant experience may compensate for the lack of formal education.
- Fluency in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken
If you donât meet every requirement listed, thatâs okay - your unique experience and perspective might be just what we need. If you believe you can add value to our team, we encourage you to apply.
