As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our team and are now looking to add a new Operations Manager. This is a newly created role, established to strengthen reliable, efficient, and safe operations at our N01 Campus in Vennesla.

What you’ll do:

As our Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will be:

Operations Management

• Lead our critical facility teams.

• Monitor and ensure efficient operation of critical systems such as power supply, cooling, fire protection and other critical infrastructure.

• Develop, implement and monitor plans for preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Coordinate and supervise activities from suppliers and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.

• Follow up on change management and deviation handling.

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations and company policies.

• Conduct regular safety audits and exercises to maintain a safe working environment.

• Support internal and external audits.

Emergency Preparedness

• Responsible for handling technical emergencies and coordinating rapid response strategies to minimize operational interruptions.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure rapid resolution of issues.

Budget and Reporting

• Manage operational budgets for the facility, including maintenance, repairs and capital improvements.

• Track and report key indicators such as uptime, energy efficiency, maintenance and deviations.

• Conduct incident reporting and root cause analysis for continuous improvement.

Who are you?

You are a reliable and structured leader who thrives in technically demanding environments. You value safety and enjoy solving complex challenges. With strong communication skills and a proactive mindset, you contribute to continuous improvement and secure operations.

What you bring:

• Minimum 5 years of operational leadership experience within data centers or comparable mission‑critical environments.

• Proven expertise in managing critical facilities, with hands‑on experience overseeing daily operations, performance, and reliability.

• Higher education in engineering or a related technical discipline. Extensive relevant operational experience may compensate for formal education.

• Strong technical understanding of key systems, including electrical power distribution, cooling/HVAC, fire protection, and building management systems (BMS).

• Demonstrated commitment to HSE, with a proactive approach to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in a Scandinavian language is considered an advantage.

• Eligibility for security clearance.
