As our new Operations Engineer, you’ll join a small, highly skilled team where collaboration, responsibility and a practical mindset are key. In this hands‑on role, you’ll work directly with the technical systems that keep the data center running, handling daily operations of cooling, power and security systems, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, installing equipment, supporting customers on site and keeping procedures and documentation up to date together with the Operations Manager, all while maintaining strong safety and compliance standards.
What you’ll do:
As our Operations Engineer, you will:
Keep our critical infrastructure running smoothly, including power, cooling, and security systems.
Support customers on-site, handling equipment installation and smart‑hands tasks in the data halls.
Coordinate maintenance and suppliers, ensuring planned work is delivered safely and efficiently.
Take part in the duty rotation, helping secure reliable 24/7 operations.
Improve how we work, contributing to better procedures, documentation, and operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, supporting incident handling and quick recovery.
Collaborate on local and cross‑site projects, contributing your technical insight where needed.
The role is currently daytime-based, but may transition into a shift arrangement in the future as operations grow.
Who are you?
You are organized, communicate clearly, and work well with others. You think critically, solve problems efficiently, and take initiative when needed. Above all, you prioritize safety and take responsibility for maintaining a secure, reliable environment.
What you bring:
Relevant technical education (mechanical, cooling/HVAC, electrical, or similar vocational background).
IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
A strong HSE mindset and commitment to safe operations.
Strong communication skills in English and Danish.
A valid work permit in Denmark.
Hands‑on experience combined with the ability to document your work and perform risk assessments.
Experience from critical infrastructure environments, such as pharma, energy sector (power plant, oil and gas, renewables), industries running operations 24/7/365.
